Maybe if I learn Java first I could understand C# better? I have 2 ebooks on java object oriented from Prentice Hall and the other from Sam's. What do you guys think?
Learning Java before C#??
Yes i would learn Java before C# because C# has elements of Java.
Reply:Only learn Java if you want to learn java, learning it to help with c# is a waste of time, the languages aren't really any more difficult than each other.
Reply:It really doesn't matter, both languages have similar syntax but I think C# is easier, because the form designer is great for laying out your GUI. C# really isn't any easier or harder than Java is.
Reply:Thats a horrible idea. If you want to learn C#, you should go for C# directly. You can learn object oriented concepts there. You can start with this interesting book for beginners:
Microsoft Visual C# 2005 Step by Step - Microsoft Press
