I wanna learn C++, please help me figure this out?

I would like to eventually learn C++ (been wanting to for a year now), should i learn something beforehand, or just dive into it? Is there somewhere where i can learn what i need to learn for free? I know nothing about computers, and would like to expand on my current knowledge drastically, help is appreciated.

I wanna learn C++, please help me figure this out?
Just jump in.

Best to buy a simple book with the C++ program and complier disk in the back. They do not run very much and give step by step chapter classes.

Reply:c++ is a language you can dive right in. You stated you don't know anything about computers. That might make it a little tougher. C++ is learning a new language all over again but I think you can do it if you want to. It is a lot of fun. Here is a site that has tutorials starting from the very basics.

Reply:if u want to expand ur knowledge more than just learning a language %26amp; u want to know some basic information about computers i recommand u this book:

"Introduction to Computing Systems: From Bits and Gates to C and Beyond" By Yale N.Patt %26amp; Sanjay J.Patel (Mc Graw Hill) a very very useful book!!!
