i have just finished my 12th std. and i am keen on pursuing my engineering(ECE),currently i'm waiting for my results to come out!should i learn any of the computer languages?and also could you tell me some good institutes where i can pursue theses languages(in bangalore)?is it advisable to learn C and C++ now or should i learn it when i'm done with engineering or during my last semester?

well .iam an engineering student [of different state -but south india] and my advice to you is that it is good to learn both these languages as all recruiters in my state prefer to test ur c %26amp; c++ skills .hope there would nt be much difference there.
*both these languages are the basics for u to learn others.u got to know that c %26amp; c++ do not differ much.60% of c language forms c++.so first learn c language thoroughly.

Reply:If you have time, learn now!! In order to be the most successful at anything, one must learn everything related. Just as learning a foreign language allows for more opportunities in the business world, computer languages allow you to explore various realms which will give you an edge on competition within the ECE field.I would advise you to take some kind of online course for C and C++. You'll then be able to learn at your own pace in case the work load gets rough at school.
Reply:That would help you tremendously to learn the languages but not mandatory! I took a robotics and engineering course for a while and refrencing the codes of another site was no problem. Don't sweat about remembering every term, but I would start looking over them your last semester if you are truly serious about persuing your engineering career. I don't know of any institutes, however, in the case that i don't live in bangladore. Ther is ITT technical instutute in California that is amazing regards to what you are asking. Hope this helps!
