Is VB.NET easier to learn than C#??

I am going to start learning ASP.NET and .NET language is required. I tried C a few years ago and I was really bad at it. Will you guys think VB.NET could be a good bet for me?? Thanks.

Is VB.NET easier to learn than C#??
I find C (and C++!) hard too. This is why I recommend VB.NET AND C#. VB.NET is easier to learn and it is improved greatly in the 2005 release. However, C# is for people who have a bit more knowledge in coding, especially in C++ and Java.
Reply:Aren't they all a part of the suite? If you like computer programming then it won't be hard. VB is like the novice of languages.
Reply:Well, if you have already done some programming in VB, then VB.net might become easier. And C# is much like a combination of C++ and Java.

However, it doesn't really matter. Whenever you feel C# is tougher, you can switch onto VB.net or vice versa.

VB.net is like VB with full blown OOPS into it.

Well, my advise would be that you first learn the .Net fundamentals, language is just a choice. You can choose anything anytime.
